The advanced skin resurfacing technique with minimum recovery time
This is a revolutionary approach to all laser resurfacing procedures. During fractional skin resurfacing, the laser beam is broken up or fractionalised into many small micro beams which are separated so that when they strike the skin surface, small areas of the skin between the beams are not hit by the laser and left intact.
These small areas of untreated skin promote a much more rapid recovery and healing with less risk of complications. The small areas treated by the fractional micro beams, called micro-thermal treatment zones (MTZ), cause sufficient laser injury to promote new collagen production and resultant facial skin rejuvenation. It is the gold standard treatment for acne scars.
Fractional laser treatment is used for the treatment of facial lines and wrinkles, skin tightening, skin texture improvement, uneven skin tone, large pores and acne scarring. It can be used on any part of the body, but is particularly useful on the face, neck, chest and hands when compared to traditional ablative modalities.
You will see improvements with each treatment session. Clinical studies suggest that 3-4 treatments spaced about a month apart produce a gradual remodeling of dermal matrix components. Optimal improvement is usually visible in about 2 - 3 months as collagen remodeling and skin tightening continues. The longevity of results is, as always, dependant on future ageing, the effect of gravity and sun exposure.
